MONSTER EXCHANGE PROJECT

Monster Exchange is designed to encourage the development of reading and writing skills. Students in class are paired together; and each one designs an original picture of a monster. The students must also write a description of the monster. After exchanging descriptions of their monsters with their partners, the challenge is to translate them into a monster picture based on the written description. The true challenge involves creating a redrawn picture as close to the original picture as possible without looking at the original and using only the written description of the monster.

My triangular monsters name is SweetHeart. She spends most of her time in Montana trying to make people feel better. She will use her antenna to send out a heart signal and when they receive it they automatically feel better. She doesn't like to come out in public and often lives in the bushes where she can hide. The bush she likes to live in is a large berry bush because she can eat the berries. She can also make animals feel better but not the really big ones. Her favorite color is blue because she lives near a beautiful lake.
